⚠️ : On March 31, 2017 , Nintendo officially closed the Nintendo DSi Shop. Consequently, Flipnote Studio and its Hatena community services were permanently shut down. The original application cannot be transferred onto a Nintendo 3DS or downloaded from the 3DS eShop, meaning the only way to access it now is via custom firmware.
If you own an original Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi, or 3DS, you can run the ROM on native hardware. You will need an R4 card or a similar NDS flashcart.
