Click on Particular Adjustment Mode . From the list of options, scroll down to the Maintenance section and double-click Waste ink pad counter .
Open the small panel at the back of the printer, unscrew the waste ink tank box, and replace the saturated cotton pads with a new set (available cheaply online).
Check the boxes next to Main Pad Counter and Platen Pad Counter , then click the Check button. The software will query the printer and display how many points have been accumulated.
