Developed by Winged Cloud and published by Sekai Project, Sakura Dungeon was released on PC via Steam on June 3, 2016, with ports to other platforms arriving later. Unlike the studio's typical visual novels, this title is a fully-fledged, first-person RPG dungeon crawler. The game follows Yomi, an ancient fox spirit who awakens from a centuries-long slumber to find her beloved dungeon has been stolen. Stripped of her power, she reluctantly teams up with a heroic knight named Ceri to fight, capture monster girls, and reclaim her domain.

Depending on where you purchased Sakura Dungeon (such as Steam or Denpasoft), the base game may feature different levels of censorship. To view the complete, unaltered artwork in your in-game gallery, many players opt to install the official restoration patches provided by the developer.
