Prior to v0.7, field trips were fairly linear. Version 0.7 completely reworked them, giving them instead of static screens. It also changed how minigames worked, offering players a choice between two different activities per trip. For example, the Camping field trip offers a choice between the "Campfire Frenzy" and "Pick-Quick-Nic" minigames. Winning these minigames would spawn eight items for the player to collect, making field trips a high-risk, high-reward proposition.
