The story of Exagear began in 2013 when the Russian startup set out to solve a complex technical problem: how to run x86 instructions on ARM processors. ARM chips, the brain in virtually all modern smartphones, don't natively understand the language of desktop programs. Exagear used dynamic binary translation (DBT) to act as a real-time interpreter, translating x86 instructions into ARM code on the fly.
