At its core, Zatch Bell! follows Kiyo Takamine, a brilliant but cynical 14-year-old high school student who has isolated himself from his peers due to his overwhelming intelligence. This new edition is a major milestone for fans. Zatch Bell! was originally published in Italy in 2007 by Play Press, but after only four volumes, the release was tragically halted, leaving the story incomplete and turning the series into a sort of "lost media" for Italian fans. For nearly two decades, readers were unable to collect the full manga, forced to rely on incomplete scans or foreign editions. J-POP Manga has now stepped in to right that wrong with a complete and premium-quality edition that is finally bringing the entire saga to Italian shelves.
Zatch’s desire to be a "kind king" often trumps raw, malevolent power.
